aka THE MAKER. ::very very happy sigh:: It really was worth spending 6 hours in the freezing cold rain.

(I'll post details later. I need to blow-dry my hair and then head out to catch the Star Wars Trilogy in 30 minutes.)

We ARE insane, Crysta. ;)

Okay, here are the details:

George has a cameo role in E3.

There will be compilation DVD of Young Indy coming out sometime soon.

There will be two SW tv shows - one half hour 3D animated series, and one live-action series between E3 and E4 that features smaller characters from the movies.

He feels very grateful to have finished SW and considers all the people involved in the movie to be family, including the fans.

E3 came out exactly the way he wanted it. He thinks people will see all the movies as one big movie and understand why he did things a certain way after they see E3. He appreciates criticism but is still very happy with the way everything turned out. (Sidenote: I thought this was very cool, because he acknowledged that some fans are unhappy with most or all of the prequels, and didn't blow that off, but explained that the story was the way he wanted it to be and that's all he could concern himself with.) He likens his relationship with Rick McCallum to a marriage and joked that they don't talk or call each other anymore, they just show up at the these sorts of events and pretent to still be together. He was actually quite funny and a bit of a smartass.

Also, Jay Laga'aia and George both acknowledged how long we waited in line and appreciated our dedication. George especially thanked us and said that the fans are family and that without us Star Wars would be nothing.

Basically, it was awesome. I totally teared up when he came out. Everyone stood up and cheered for at least a minute. People were screaming, "We love you, George! Thank you, George!" Which was exactly my sentiment. He hasn't appeared at a sci-fi convention since 1987. I feel extremely lucky and grateful to have seen him in person.

Congratulations. But for the record, I think you all are insane. *grin*

I do expect details later though. You have to at least try to make me jealous of your painful morning. :-)

YOUNG INDY!!!!!

Oh yeah, George. ;)

Sounds like he was awesome. That's good. I'm glad he was worth the wait. And I'm glad you got to see your god in person.

I knew that you would like that. :)

I still am so excited that I saw him. It was awesome. I hope you feel the same when you see Joss (without the standing the freezing rain part, of course).

*envious... but then, you already knew that*

He thinks people will see all the movies as one big movie and understand why he did things a certain way after they see E3.
