I am so unbelievably bad at writing those scenes. More often than not I have to revert to a silly fade-to-black tactic to save my own bacon.

Ha! I can do kissing fine, but anything other than that goes "fade to black." That's the reason I could never write smut, lol!

Ha. Last night I had an excellent night of writing all because I slipped into writing porn. I swear I didn't mean to! (And then everything just came out, writing became so easy, it's like the whole scene just spread open before me... Okay, I should stop, I could do these all day.)
