I'm still working on my CV post. I want to remember everything! I can't believe that a week ago I was walking around the convention center with a bunch of other nerds. Driving by the convention center on my way home today was very depressing.

So CV totally reigniting my love for Star Wars, so much so that I want to get back into the EU. I know - after Mara died I swore I would never read the EU again, but what can I say. I miss it. I'll always want more Mara stories, but I'm interested in the new Fate of the Jedi series after attending the panel at CV. I hope it meets my expectations. And I can always hope for some new Mara stories. Del Rey said that they're going to focus on standalones/duologies/trilogies after FOTJ, so maybe they'll go back and fill in the timeline between Vision of the Future and NJO, and between NJO and Dark Nest. One can only hope!

I just got Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor from the library. Hopefully it's good! (And I'm rereading Vision of the Future, heh.)

If you ever need a free book, come see me.

WELL WELL WELL! Look who comes crawling back. :P

I'm actually stoked, because I work on all the FOTJ books, and was sad when you said you weren't interested in them. Yay for Nanci! She's back!

Dude, I TOTALLY forgot you work on the FOTJ books! Yay!!! I REALLY love the cover art for those books. I have the first one coming on from the library and bought the second one at the con, because the authors were doing signings I didn't have any other SW books for that author to sign, heh.

I'm always willing to get free books. :D And if you talk to anyone important, tell them I want more Mara Jade stories, ok? :D

Yeah, the cover art is great, and my name is on the copyright page! hahahah. (small claims to fame)

Did you go to a Del Rey/Random House booth? So you met Troy Denning, Christine Golden or Aaron Allston? Those three keep us pretty busy.

I actually never got to the DelRey booth. The authors were signing at the Barnes and Noble booth so I met all of them. Aaron is one of my favorite SW authors, Troy Denning wrote one of my favorite SW books (Tatooine Ghost) and Christie Golden wrote a WoW book I really like. I also attended the Fate of the Jedi panel and Shelley Shapiro was there, too.

Haha, you shouldn't have told me that...I'm going to have to resist the urge to have you tell Shelley things, like "Make more Mara books! PLEASE!!!" :)

She said at the FOTJ panel that she never liked the idea of Jacen Solo turning to the Dark Side, and oh I wish they had agreed with her! Lol.
