Confessions of a Shopaholic
Oct. 23rd, 2008 02:15 pmI love this book series, and I'm excited about the movie. But I'm worried about the changes they're making:
A college grad lands a job as a financial journalist in New York City to support where she nurtures her shopping addiction and falls for a wealthy entrepreneur. Based on the novel "Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella.
Okay, Becky Bloomwood was British. Is she still going to be British in this one? At least she's still a financial journalist. Also, she was a few years out of college in the first book, not a college grad. And she didn't fall for Luke Brandon until the end of the first book. There wasn't much romance at all in the first one; I guess they're changing that, especially since it comes out before Valentine's Day. I also wonder if they're putting plots from the other two books in this one. I'm crossing my fingers it's going to be good. I don't mind if they change stuff, as long as it makes sense.
Maybe I get Philip to take me to this movie as a Valentine's Day present. HA!
