I hate when movie soundtracks aren't in chronological order and when parts of different songs are smushed together for no good reason.

Thankfully I can easily rearrange the tracks on iTunes and my iPod.

That's always bugged me too. I have a special playlist for Moulin Rouge, because the track order is so screwed up - not to mention spread across two CDs. The RotS soundtrack is also retarded like that.

Yup, I wish they would release Special Edition soundtracks of AOTC and ROTS.

I borrowed the Order of the Phoenix soundtrack from my friend an I rearranged the tracks so I could listen to them in chronological order.

I've never listened to any of the HP soundtracks, though I've been tempted a few times to buy the first one. Are they any good? Is JW still doing them?

No, I think he stopped after Chamber of Secrets.

The only one I've listened to is Order of the Phoenix. I like it a lot, especially "Fireworks" and "Professor Umbridge."

I think he did Azkaban too, but elected to do Memoirs of a Geisha instead of Goblet of Fire.

If you want HP music I'd urge you to by the Chamber of Secrets CD intead of Sorcerer's Stone. SS relies heavily on Hedwig's theme AND has an entire track devoted to it. If you're in love with that theme, that's fine, but I thought the overall soundtrack rather lacking in Williams' usual brilliance.

COS is much better in terms of better music and more varied music, and the theme he wrote for Fawkes is very nice.

I haven't listened to Azkaban in a while, but I still liked it better than SS. The music for Harry flying on Buckbeak is brilliant.
