Amy just came by my desk and said that I was scaring her. I have some downtime at work so I've been cleaning/organizing my desk. I took down my Star Wars figures to dust my shelf, and I only put a few of them back. I'm taking the rest home. Amy kept asking if I was okay and if I felt sick. I just want to "mature up" my desk a little bit. It's still nerdy though, I promise!

I really don't understand this need to "mature up" your desk. I have fandomy things around because work makes me sad and fandom makes me happy. Actually work makes me want to hit things, and sometimes fandom makes me want to hit things, too, but usually it makes me happy. ANYWAY, the bottom line is happiness.

At least replace the fandomness with other things that make you happy, okay?

I just got rid of the excess of toys because the clutter has been bothering me for awhile. I still have 13 Star Wars toys I like the best, including the flipping Yoda, the asleep/awake Jawa, the hard-to-find Vader/Anakin, and the X-Wing and Millennium Falcon that can race. I definitely did not get rid of everything and I'm not replacing the fandom stuff, I just got rid of the excess.
