Last night I met my friend Jamie at Universal CityWalk. I used to work with her at KSC and she was visiting with her brother. We made plans to eat at Margaritaville, but it was a 2 1/2 wait. :p So we went to Bubba Gump instead. I've never been there; it was okay, nothing special, although I do enjoy their "Run Forrest Run" and "Stop Forrest Stop" license plates that help you get the servers' attention.

Anyway, later in our meal the waiter (who Jamie was flirting with all night and left him a $10 tip, LOL) came over ask started asking us Forrest Gump trivia. I got all but two of the questions right. He kept pulling out more questions, and he and Jamie were looking at me funny like he couldn't believe I knew all the answers. I was incorrent about the number of Dr. Peppers Forrest drank, so I guess I need to go rewatch the movie. :p

It was 15. I said 13. :p

Hmm, let me try to think of some...

What football team did Forrest play for?

How did they get Forrest to stop running?

Who were Forrest's three bestest friends in the world?

What rank was Lieutenant Dan (haha he got me on that one).

Forrest went into the army and was shot. Where was he shot?

Forrest went to the White House when he got on the All-American team. Who was President then?

When Forrest went to go to the bathroom in the White House, who was in the picture?

What did Forrest say to President Kennedy?

What did Forrest's mom call his leg braces/shoes?

I didn't think they were very hard questions, especially if you've seen the movie several times. But apparently most people don't get the trivia right.

Ahhh those are pretty easy indeed. The only thing that stumps me is the football team. I want to say Clemson or Alabama state, but don't know for sure.

But I will answer some of these questions in quotes, because it cracks me up.

"Directly in the buttocks."

"I gotta pee."

"They was my magic shoes."

It was the University of Alabama. :)

Haha, Jamie and I both said in unison "In the buttocks," and the waiter said, "This is a family restaurant, he was shot in Vietnam." Hardy-har-har.

That's how I knew most of the answers - I remembered the quotes. :)
